Oberhof Sonnseite is a village in the Carinthian market town of Metnitz with 106 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The village lies entirely in the territory of the Metnitz Land cadastral community .

location

The village is located in the upper Metnitztal on the left side of the valley floor and on the left-hand slopes and short side valleys. It can be reached via the Metnitztal state road L62.

Population development

The following population figures were counted for the village:

  • 1869: 31 houses, 218 inhabitants
  • 1880: 37 houses, 230 inhabitants
  • 1890: 35 houses, 171 inhabitants
  • 1900: 34 houses, 153 inhabitants
  • 1910: 38 houses, 140 inhabitants
  • 1961: 29 houses, 165 inhabitants
  • 2001: 45 buildings, 123 inhabitants
  • 2011: 47 buildings, 108 inhabitants

Parts of the village

The locality includes the Diezl , Erler , Glanzer , Gully , Gun , Hirz , Kopeter , Oberwulz , Pöllarsch , Regger , Reibnegger and Unterwulz farms , as well as the Brunneralm , Glanzeralm , Leitgebhütte , Maganellialm , Mesneralm and Priewaldhütte .

Temporarily, an official distinction was made between the scattered settlement and the alpine pastures within the village:

Scattered settlement

For the scattered settlement, 28 houses and 140 inhabitants were given in 1910 and 26 houses and 162 inhabitants in 1961.

Alpine pastures

For the alpine pastures 10 houses and 0 inhabitants were given in 1910 and 3 houses ( Koglhütte , Leitgebhütte , Priewaldhütte ) and 3 inhabitants (all in the Priewaldhütte) in 1961 .
