Klachl (formerly also Klachel ) is a village in the Carinthian market town of Metnitz with 86 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The village lies entirely in the territory of the Metnitz Land cadastral community .

location

The village is located on the eastern edge of the municipality of Metnitz, on the left-hand slopes of the Metnitztal in the area of ​​the Klachlbach, north of Grades .

history

In 1978 a Roman tombstone inscription was discovered at Klachl No. 12; an indication of a Roman settlement.
