The state government Wallner I was the Vorarlberg state government under the leadership of Governor Markus Wallner ( ÖVP ) from September 2011 to October 2014. The new members of the state government were after the resignation of the previous Governor Herbert Sausgruber in a special session of the 29th Vorarlberg state parliament on 7. Elected December 2011.

Markus Wallner, who was state governor in the state government of Sausgruber IV , took over his office as governor after Sausgruber's resignation. The previous Provincial Councilor Karlheinz Rüdisser became the new state governor . Wallner's previous agendas as the state health councilor were taken over by the newly elected club chairman of the ÖVP in the state parliament, Rainer Gögele .

Gögele surprisingly resigned as health councilor almost six months after taking office on June 1, 2012. Christian Bernhard , the previous state medical director in the office of the Vorarlberg state government, was sworn in as his successor in the state parliament session on June 6th . As a health expert, however, he only took over the health and disability assistance departments of his predecessor, while the structural engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, cable cars and elevator technology departments were transferred to the area of responsibility of Regional Councilor Andrea Kaufmann.

Also before the end of the legislative period, State Councilor Siegmund Stemer , who had been a member of the Vorarlberg state government since 1997, resigned on November 6, 2012. His successor as state councilor was the previous state parliament president Bernadette Mennel on November 14th .

Another change in government took place in May 2013, when Andrea Kaufmann left the government to take up the office of Mayor of Dornbirn . Her successor was then on May 8, 2013 the previous community association president and Schlins mayor Harald Sonderegger .
