Lasek Mały ( German  Klein Lassek , 1938 to 1945 Liebchensruh ) was a place in the area of today's urban and rural community Olecko (Marggrabowa , colloquially also Oletzko , 1928 to 1945 Treuburg) in the Powiat Olecki ( Oletzko district , Treuburg district 1933 to 1945 ) in of the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

Geographical location

The local office of Lasek Mały is located in the east of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship on the north bank of the Groß Oletzkoer See (1928 to 1945: Treuburger See, Jezioro Oleckie Wielkie in Polish ), two kilometers northeast of the district town of Olecko .

history

Klein Lassek , which already existed in the 19th century, consisted only of a small homestead. It was a residential area within the rural community Moosznen (1936 to 1938: Mooschnen, 1938 to 1945: Moschnen, Polish Możne ) in the Oletzko district (1933 to 1945: Treuburg district) in the Gumbinnen administrative district of the Prussian province of East Prussia . On June 3 (officially confirmed on July 16) of the year 1938, Klein Lassek was renamed "Liebchensruh".

With the whole of southern East Prussia , the place came to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war and was given the Polish form of the name "Lasek Mały". At first it belonged to Możne , but then it got lost. Today only the local office can be guessed at. However, to the north of it, in the urban area of Olecko , the so-called "Dworek Mazurski" has formed, which has often been equated with the former Lasek Mały. It is a recreation center ( Polish: ośrodek wypoczynkowy ), located directly on the bank of Jezioro Oleckie Wielkie .

church

Until 1945 Klein Lassek belonged to the Protestant and Catholic parish church in Marggrabowa (Treuburg). After 1945 Lasek Mały continued to be parish in Olecko on the Catholic side. The Protestant church members oriented themselves to Ełk and Gołdap .

traffic

The local office of Lasek Mały is on a side road from the voivodship road DW 653 (from 1939 to 1944 part of the German Reichsstraße 127 ) not far from Sedranki (Searanken) in a southerly direction to Możne (Moosznen , 1936 to 1938 Mooschnen , 1938 to 1945 Moschnen) to reach. Until 1945 Klein Lassek respectively. Liebchensruh railway station on the Marggrabowa-Garbassen line of the Oletzkoer (Treuburger) small railways , whose operation was discontinued in 1945 due to the war. The station was located 800 meters northwest of the village.
