Dąbrowskie-Osada (until 2014 Dąbrowskie ) is a small place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , which belongs to the urban and rural community of Olecko (Marggrabowa , colloquially also Oletzko , 1928–1945 Treuburg) in the powiat Olecki ( Oletzko district , 1933–1945 district Treuburg ).

Geographical location

The hamlet ( Polish osada ) Dąbrowskie-Osada is located in the east of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship , five kilometers northeast of the district town of Olecko .

history

Almost nothing is documented about the history of the small town, which was called “Dąbrowskie” (without an addition) until 2014, not even from the time before 1945 and about any German name. It could well have originated after 1945, in connection with the name of the village Dąbrowskie ( German  Dombrowsken , 1938–1945 Königsruh ) just a few kilometers further north . For a long time the place is said to have been led as " Państwowe gospodarstwo rolne " (PGR - State Agricultural Enterprise ).

In order to avoid confusion of names, the place has been called Dąbrowskie-Osada (with addition) since January 1, 2015 and differs from the neighboring Dąbrowskie (without addition). The small town is incorporated into the urban and rural community of Olecko in the Powiat Olecki .

Religions

Ecclesiastically, the place is oriented on the Catholic side to the parish churches in Szczecinki (Sczeczinken , 1916–1945 Eichhorn) and Judziki (Judzicken , 1938–1945 Wiesenhöhe) , which belong to the Diocese of Ełk ( German  Lyck ) of the Roman Catholic Church in Poland .

The Protestant church members are assigned to the churches in Ełk and Gołdap in the diocese of Masuria of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .

traffic

Dąbrowskie-Osada is conveniently located on the Polish voivodeship road DW 653 (from 1939 to 1944 part of the German Reichsstraße 127 ), which connects the two voivodships Warmia-Masuria and Podlaskie . There is also a land route from Dąbrowskie (Dombrowsken , 1938–1945 Königsruh) to Dąbrowskie-Osada.

There is no connection to rail traffic.
