The women's 800-meter run at the 1954 European Athletics Championships was held on August 25 and 27, 1954 in the Neufeld Stadium in Bern .
In this discipline there were two medals for runners from the USSR, gold and bronze. The European champion was the world record holder Nina Otkalenko . She won ahead of the British Diane Leather . Lyudmila Lysenko came in third .
