List of Members of the Styrian State Parliament (12th legislative period)

This list of the members of the Styrian Landtag (XII. Legislative period) lists all the members of the Styrian Landtag in the XII. Legislative period from October 18, 1991 to January 23, 1996. In the state elections in 1991 , the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) won 26 of the 56 state parliament seats and thereby lost its absolute majority, although it lost four seats compared to the 1986 state elections . The Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) lost one seat and after the election had 21 members of the state parliament, the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) was able to increase its seats by seven to a total of nine seats. The Greens , on the other hand, missed re-entry into the state parliament.
