List of members of the Styrian Landtag (16th legislative period)
This list of MPs to the Styrian Landtag (16th legislative period) lists all MPs to the Styrian Landtag in the XVI. Legislative period. The legislative period began on October 21, 2010. Before that, the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) had defended the majority of votes it had only acquired for the first time in 2005 in the 2010 state elections , and achieved 23 of the 56 seats. However, this meant the loss of two mandates. The Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) also lost two seats in the state elections and has 22 members in the new legislative period. The third strongest force was the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), which succeeded in re-entering the state parliament with six mandates. Fourth place went to Die Grünen - Die Grüne Alternative (GRÜNE), who were able to hold their three mandates, and the Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ) is represented in the state parliament with two members (previously four seats).
After the inauguration of the deputies on October 21, 2010, the state parliament elected the state government Voves II on the same day .

After Kurt Flecker (SPÖ) left, the former state councilor for the environment and sport, Manfred Wegscheider (SPÖ), was elected as the new state parliament president with 53 of 56 votes.
