Wolfgang Dolesch (born February 21, 1970 in Hartberg ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and the incumbent mayor of the market town of Neudau . Dolesch has been a member of the state parliament for the SPÖ in the Styrian state parliament since 2014, where he is the party's culture and education spokesperson.

Life

education and profession

Dolesch completed both the AHS-Matura in Hartberg and the BHS-Matura in Feldbach and completed a teaching degree for higher schools in history / social studies and geography / economics at the University of Graz in 1996 . He then completed a doctorate in history at the University of Graz and received his doctorate four years later. Since 1999 Dolesch has been working as a trainer at the BFI in Hartberg. Wolfgang Dolesch lives in Neudau .

Political career

He has been the mayor of Neudau since 2006 and has represented the SPÖ in the Styrian state parliament since December 16, 2014. Dolesch is also regional chairman of the SPÖ Oststeiermark .
