Detlev Eisel-Eiselsberg (born June 9, 1962 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). Since 2014 he has been regional manager of ÖVP Styria , from November 9th to December 11th 2017 he was a member of the Austrian Federal Council delegated by the Styrian state parliament . He has been a member of the Styrian Landtag since December 12, 2017.

Life

Detlev Eisel-Eiselsberg attended elementary school in Graz, the 1st Bundesgymnasium Graz (1972–1976) and the secondary school Graz-Hartenaugasse (1976/77) a Graz upper level high school , where he graduated in 1981 . From 1982 to 1998 he worked in the office of the Styrian provincial government , among other things as a consultant for environmental and local protection in the provincial building management. As secretary to State Councilor Waltraud Klasnic , he was responsible for economic and tourism promotion and transport, and he was also secretary to State Councilor Herbert Paierl . He later became ÖVP club secretary in the ÖVP state parliament club in the Styrian state parliament and was the office manager of the Graz city ​​council Siegfried Nagl . From 2003 he was a sports and school councilor in Graz. At the beginning of 2014 he became the regional managing director of the Styrian People's Party , Kurt Hohensinner succeeded him as Graz city councilor for sports and schools.

In November 2017 he was sent to the Austrian Federal Council by the Styrian Landtag. He succeeded Ernst Gödl , who moved to the National Council .

On December 12, 2017 he was in the XVII. Legislative period as a member of the provincial Styria sworn in . He succeeded Christian Buchmann , who moved to the Federal Council .
