Andreas Kinsky
Andreas Kinsky (born May 18, 1967 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). He has been a member of the Styrian state parliament since December 17, 2019 .
Life
Andreas Kinsky was born as the son of the ÖVP politician Hans Kinsky . After primary school in Mitterdorf an der Raab, he attended the Stiftsgymnasium Kremsmünster , where he graduated in 1985 . After his military service , he began studying technical management and mechanical engineering at the ETH Zurich , which he completed in 1990 as a graduate engineer.
From 1991 to 1996 he was a consultant and manager at GCI Management GmbH , in 1994 he was the founder and project manager of ESD Information Technology Entwicklungs GmbH , which was renamed MeTechnology AG in 1998 and was its board member and CFO from 1996 to 1999. After the sale of MeTechnology AG to Brokat AG in 1999, he headed their corporate development department for two years and was a member of the executive board. In 2001 he co-founded Blue Corporate Finance AG , which was renamed Quarton International AG in 2015 .
In 2004 he took over the agriculture and forestry Gutsverwaltung Stadl , which he runs as a sideline. Since 2013 he has been a member of the K.Ö.St.V. Markomannia Eppenstein Graz , in 2019 he became a board member of the Grazer AK . Kinsky is married and has six children.
politics
Kinsky ran for the ÖVP in the 2013 National Council election and was then active in the district party in the Weiz district , where he was elected ÖVP district party chairman in September 2015 and became a delegate to the state party congress. Since 2014 he has been a member of the local executive committee in Mitterdorf an der Raab , since 2015 a member of the extended regional management of the Styrian Economic Association and since 2018 a member of the regional executive committee of the Styrian Farmers Association.
In the 2019 state elections , he ran for 23rd place on the state list and sixth in state electoral district 2 (Eastern Styria). On December 17, 2019, he was appointed at the constitutive session of the XVIII. Legislative term as Member of the state parliament of Styria sworn in . In the ÖVP state parliament club, he acts as the area spokesman for families and finances. Further focal points are the maintenance and promotion of small-scale agriculture as well as the ongoing optimization of the framework conditions for the economy.
