Lara Koeck

Lara Köck (born August 30, 1986 in Mürzzuschlag ) is an Austrian politician ( Greens ). She has been a member of the Styrian state parliament since March 2017 .

Life

Lara Köck attended the Mürzzuschlag Federal High School, where she graduated in 2004 . She then studied infrastructure economics at the FH Joanneum with a focus on energy and the environment, graduating in 2009 as a graduate engineer . From 2009 to 2011 she worked for the LandesEnergieVerein Steiermark , and since 2011 she has been with Viktor Kaplan Muerz GmbH .

In 2014 she became the mother of a daughter and in March 2018 the mother of a son.

politics

She has been a member of the state board of the Green Styria since 2014, and has also been a member of the federal board since January 2017. In the state elections in 2015 , she ran for third place on the state green list. On March 21, 2017, she was succeeded by Sabine Jungwirth in the XVII. Legislative term as Member of the Landtag Styria sworn in , where she served as spokeswoman for the energy, youth, women, education issues with business and research, sport and integration in this legislative period.

In the early state elections in 2019 , she ran for third place on the state list and in the constituency of Upper Styria behind Sandra Krautwaschl and Lambert Schönleitner . For the XVIII. Legislative period , it was intended to be chairwoman-deputy, in the countryside parliamentary club it acts in this legislative period as the spokesperson for education, housing, innovation and energy.
