Obergut | On a small hill in the south of the village. The two-storey mansion on the vaulted cellar of a moated castle of unknown age is probably Lenthe's oldest building. The Renaissance oriel on the north facade dates from 1604. In the 18th century, parts of the low, massive upper storey were replaced by half-timbering. The bridge over the moat between the manor house and the park are attributed to Laves. Next to the manor house is the tenant house, a two-storey wall stud construction built around 1800 in regular half-timbering. |
