In the district of Calw there are 19 landscape conservation areas . According to the protected area statistics of the State Institute for the Environment, Measurements and Nature Conservation Baden-Württemberg (LUBW), 25,491.02 hectares of the district area are under landscape protection, that is 31.96 percent.
