List of nature reserves in Ulm

In the city district Ulm there are two nature reserves. The Tübingen regional council is responsible for designating nature reserves . According to the protected area statistics of the State Institute for the Environment, Measurements and Nature Conservation Baden-Württemberg (LUBW), 137.05 hectares of the city area are under nature protection, that is 1.15 percent.

Ulm
Preservation and calming of an endangered old Danube river with water, silting and land areas mainly as habitat for the bird world (resting, feeding and nesting areas). Because of the necessary population exchange, a connection with the Donauried and the other Danube reservoirs can be seen for the protected area.
