List of nature reserves in the Ortenaukreis

In Ortenaukreis there are 23 nature reserves. The Freiburg regional council is responsible for the designation of nature reserves . According to the protected area statistics of the State Institute for the Environment, Measurements and Nature Conservation Baden-Württemberg (LUBW), 3,109.84 hectares of the district area are under nature protection, that is 1.68 percent.
