List of nature reserves in the district of Göppingen
In Göppingen district there are 20 nature reserves. The Stuttgart Regional Council is responsible for the designation of nature reserves . According to the protected area statistics of the State Institute for the Environment, Measurements and Nature Conservation Baden-Württemberg (LUBW), 2,887.55 hectares of the district area are under nature protection, that is 4.50 percent.
