List of nature reserves in the Esslingen district

In the district of Esslingen , there are 29 nature reserves. The Stuttgart Regional Council is responsible for the designation of nature reserves . According to the protected area statistics of the State Institute for the Environment, Measurements and Nature Conservation Baden-Württemberg (LUBW), 2,320.57 hectares of the district area are under nature protection, that is 3.62 percent.
