List of nature reserves in the Rhein-Neckar district
In the Rhein-Neckar district , there are 50 nature reserves. The Karlsruhe Regional Council is responsible for the designation of nature reserves . According to the protected area statistics of the State Institute for the Environment, Measurements and Nature Conservation Baden-Württemberg (LUBW), 3029.47 hectares of the district area are under nature protection, that is 2.85 percent.
