The Schlossberg-Hauberg nature reserve is located in the area of the town of Hornberg in the Ortenaukreis and the town of Triberg in the Black Forest in the Schwarzwald-Baar district in Baden-Württemberg .
The area extends south of the core town of Hornberg and north of the core town of Triberg and Gremmelsbach , a district of Triberg. The B 33 runs to the west and flows the Gutach , a tributary of the Kinzig .

For Hornberg and Triberg in the Black Forest, a 107.0 ha area has been designated as a nature reserve under the identification number 3.254 since January 20, 2000 . It is about "steep mountain slopes with rocks, block (rubble) dumps and largely near-natural forests." It is "a testimony to historical forms of forest management ( coppice forests and oak peeling forests )."
