List of participants in the coronation procession in 1937
The list of participants in the coronation procession in 1937 during the procession to the Coronation of the British monarch in the Westminster Abbey is a reflection of the Government of the United Kingdom in their parliamentary, court and clerical aspects. The holders of the highest offices of the British monarchy have a traditional place in it.
The dignitaries walk to their given places in a fixed order. All dignitaries and clergy who take part in the procession have real or symbolic tasks during the coronation liturgy . On May 12, 1937, for the coronation of George VI. and his wife Queen Elisabeth , the procession was structured as follows:
