List of Portuguese ambassadors in Ghana

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Ghana lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Ghana . The countries have had direct diplomatic relations since 1975, which go back to the arrival of the Portuguese explorers as the first Europeans in what is now Ghana in the middle of the 15th century.

The first ambassador of Portugal was accredited in 1977 in the Ghanaian capital Accra . Portugal has not yet opened its own embassy there, the Portuguese representative in Nigeria will continue to receive second accreditation in Ghana (as of 2019).
