The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Guinea-Bissau lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Guinea-Bissau . Guinea-Bissau was a Portuguese colony from the middle of the 15th century until 1974 . After the Portuguese Carnation Revolution in 1974, the new government in Portugal recognized Guinea-Bissau's independence on September 10, 1974 and then established diplomatic relations.

The Portuguese embassy in the Guinea-Bissau capital of Bissau is located on Avenida Cidade de Lisboa .
