List of Portuguese ambassadors in Nigeria

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Nigeria lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Nigeria . The two states have had diplomatic relations since 1975.

In 1976 Portugal opened its embassy in the Nigerian capital Lagos . After the capital moved to Abuja at the end of 1991, the Portuguese embassy also moved there in 2014, at 53 Usuma Street in the Maitama district. As of September 13, 2014, the embassy in Lagos was vacant; in 2017 it was reopened in Abuja.

The administrative district of the Portuguese embassy in Nigeria also includes the countries Ghana , Cameroon and Liberia .
