List of Portuguese ambassadors in Guinea
The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Guinea lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Guinea . The countries have had direct diplomatic relations since 1979, which go back to the arrival of the Portuguese explorers in what is now Guinea around 1445.
The first ambassador of Portugal was accredited in 1985 in the Guinean capital Conakry . Portugal did not open its own embassy there, the country still belongs to the administrative district of the Portuguese ambassador in Senegal , who is accredited a second time in Guinea (status 2019).
