The list of Portuguese ambassadors in São Tomé and Príncipe lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in São Tomé and Príncipe . The island nation has been a Portuguese colony since its discovery in 1471 . After the Carnation Revolution in 1974, the new Portuguese government granted São Tomé and Príncipe independence on July 12, 1975 and then established diplomatic relations.

The Portuguese embassy in the São Tomé capital of São Tomé is located in Av. Marginal 12 de Julho .
