List of Portuguese ambassadors in Libya

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Libya lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Libya . The two states have had diplomatic relations since 1975.

First accredited a Portuguese representative in the Libyan capital in the 1989 Tripoli . Portugal opened its own embassy there in 2007. Since its closure in 2014, Libya has once again been part of the administrative district of the Portuguese ambassador to Tunisia , who will be accredited there for a second time (as of 2019).
