List of Portuguese ambassadors in Mauritania

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Mauritania lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Mauritania . The two states have had diplomatic relations since March 3, 1975. On January 27, 1976 , the first Portuguese ambassador to Mauritania was accredited .

The two countries have not yet set up mutual embassies, but there are mutual honorary consulates in the respective capital.

The Portuguese ambassador to Senegal is double accredited in the Mauritanian capital Nouakchott .
