List of Portuguese ambassadors in Botswana

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Botswana lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Botswana . The countries have had direct diplomatic relations since 1980.

The first ambassador of Portugal was accredited in 1982 in the Botswana capital Gaborone . Portugal did not open its own embassy afterwards, the Portuguese representative in South Africa (until 1998 the Portuguese representative in Zimbabwe ) was given a second accreditation in Botswana (as of 2019).
