List of Portuguese ambassadors in Tunisia

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Tunisia lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Tunisia . The two states have had diplomatic relations since Tunisia's independence in 1956, which go back to a first bilateral agreement in 1799.

The Portuguese legation (embassy from 1975) in the Tunisian capital Tunis already existed when Portugal's ambassador to Morocco was the first to double accredit himself in Tunis on May 21, 1957 . From 1960 the representative of Portugal for Tunisia resided himself on site in the Portuguese legation in Tunis.
