List of Turkish ambassadors in Cyprus
From 1925 to July 1927 and from July 1928 to 1939 there was a consulate in Larnaka , which was subordinate to the Turkish legation in London and for which Asaf Bey, Kançılar Zühdü Bey and Katip Mustafa Kamil Bey had exequatur. In 1939 the seat of the consulate was moved to Nicosia .
The Turkish government has recognized the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus since November 15, 1983 .
