This list of the largest motor vehicle manufacturers contains motor vehicle manufacturers , i.e. manufacturers of motor vehicles , according to their annual production volume .

If a manufacturer holds a majority of over 50% of the voting shares in another manufacturer, such as B. VW to Audi or Toyota to Daihatsu , then these are shown as one value. However, if a manufacturer only has a minority stake, such as Hyundai in Kia or Renault in Nissan , then the values ​​are shown separately.
