The following important information is missing from this article or section:

Upper Austria not only has power plants from Energie AG Oberösterreich, u. a. also the Danube power plants, see Austrian Danube power plants, Inn power plants. List of is always a bit POVig, it needs a delimitation up to which power plants are listed (complete). There are certainly many small power plants that may not be listed here due to a lack of literature and relevance. After a first look at Doris (only look for entries in the water book that contain the text Kraftwerk in the name), the Rumpelmühle Bernegger power plant, the Lasberg power plant E-Werk Grub, the Glatzing armor Wankham I & II power plant, the Glatzing armored car station, the Glatzing power plant are missing Riistorf Mühlwang, Hammergraben power plant (under construction), Glatzing power plant Riistorf Deutenham, Oberplaißa Hirtenlehner power plant, Rittmühle power plant. Sorting numerically does not work;

The list of hydropower plants in Upper Austria contains information on hydropower plants with an output of 100 kW and more that are located in the federal state of Upper Austria . The location of the power plant is that of the power house and not of the ancillary facilities (e.g. weir systems or similar) (often in the case of border rivers). Hydroelectric power plants generate mechanical or electrical energy from the kinetic energy of the water.
