Stanislav Lobotka (born November 25, 1994 in Trenčín ) is a Slovak football player . The midfielder has played for the Italian Serie A club SSC Napoli since January 2020 and has been the Slovak national player since November 2016 .
Career
society
For FK AS Trenčín Lobotka made his debut on March 4, 2012 in the game against FK Dukla Banská Bystrica in the Corgoň League. For the 2013/14 season he switched to the Dutch second division Jong Ajax , the reserve team of Ajax Amsterdam . Ajax also secured an option to purchase Lobotka. For Ajax II he made his league debut on August 9 in the 2-0 defeat by FC Oss when he was substituted on at half-time. He scored his first of three goals this season against VVV-Venlo on October 21 .
On August 25, 2015 Lobotka moved to the Danish Super League for FC Nordsjælland . His first league game for the Wild Tigers he completed five days later against Brøndby IF . In his first season in 2015/16 he played 26 out of a possible 27 league games and was named Nordsjællands Player of the Year. After a strong 2016/17 season , he was again named Player of the Year.
On July 15, 2017, Lobotka moved to the Primera División club Celta Vigo . He signed a five-year contract with the team from Galicia . In the 2017/18 season , Lobotka played all 38 league games in which he was able to prepare three goals. In the following season 2018/19 he was used in 31 league games.
On January 15, 2020, Lobotka moved to the Italian first division club SSC Napoli for a transfer fee of 20 million euros , where he signed a 4-1 / 2-year contract.
National team
After playing for Slovakia in several youth selections, he was called up for the first time for the Slovak A selection in November 2016 on the occasion of the friendlies against Austria and Lithuania . He made his debut against Austria on November 15 when he came into the game for the second half of the game.
