The list of the team cadres of the Extraliga (Czech Republic, chess) 1997/98 contains all players who were used at least once in the Czech Extraliga in chess 1997/98 with their individual results.
Overall, the 12 clubs deployed 147 players, 34 of whom did not miss a match. A64 MILO Olomouc, ŠK Dům armády Prague, TJ Nová Huť Ostrava, ŠK V + P Zlín and the ŠK H. Fuchs Ostrava managed with 11 players each, while the ŠK DP Mladí Prague and the second team of the ŠK Vyšehrad Prague had most Players played at least one game, namely 14.
The most successful players of the season were Sergej Movsesjan (ŠK Infinity Pardubice), Yury Shulman (TJ Nová Huť Ostrava), Vlastimil Babula (ŠK Dům armády Prague) and Robert Cvek (A64 MILO Olomouc) with 8 points each, with Movsesjan and Shulman each playing ten games played, Babula and Cvek eleven each. No player achieved 100% of the points, Karel Kleberc (ŠK H. Fuchs Ostrava) with 5 points from 6 games and Nana Iosseliani (ŠK DP Mladí Prague) with 2.5 points from 3 games achieved the best results .
