Manon Marriët Kamminga (born April 7, 1992 in Haulerwijk ) is a Dutch inline speed skater and speed skater . She is world champion (2012) and multiple European champion (2011–2017) in inline speed skating .

Career

In her first year with the seniors, Kamminga won two bronze medals with the relay at international championships in 2010. In addition to other successes in the relay, she won her first gold medal in an individual discipline at the European Championships in 2011. She was able to repeat this success in 2012.

At the 2013 European Championships in Almere , Kamminga is the most successful athlete. She wins a total of seven gold medals and one bronze medal.

In 2014, Kamminga won the Berlin Marathon for the second time in a row with a new course record in 1:07:44 hours.

In 2016 she won the Berlin Marathon for the third time in 1:08:38 h, after finishing second here in the previous year.

At the inline speed skating European championships in 2017 , Kamminga in Portugal became the European marathon champion for the second time after 2014.

In speed skating , she has so far only been successful in national competitions. Kamminga lives and trains in Heerenveen and studies at the Open University of the Netherlands .
