Michał Joachimowski
Michał Teodor Joachimowski (born September 26, 1950 in Żnin , † January 19, 2014 in Bydgoszcz ) was a Polish triple jumper .
In 1972 he was eighth at the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble and seventh at the Olympic Games in Munich .
A silver medal at the 1973 European Indoor Championships in Rotterdam was followed by gold at the 1974 European Indoor Championships in Gothenburg . At the European Championships in Rome in 1974 , he was fifth. In 1975 he won silver again at the European Indoor Championships in Katowice and won the Universiade .
In 1976 he retired from qualifying at the Olympic Games in Montreal .
He was national champion outdoors six times (1972–1976, 1978) and three times indoors (1973–1975).
