Michael Goldberg (born May 27, 1959 in Basel ) is a Swiss actor .

Life

Family and education

Goldberg comes from a Jewish Swiss family. His grandparents were Orthodox Jews; his parents lived largely assimilated, but cultivated Jewish culture and history. His father was a staunch communist and later a socialist . The family lived with their children - Goldberg also has a sister - first in Basel's Neubad district, then later in a house on the Bruderholz. Goldberg went to school in Basel; he visited there u. a. the diploma middle school (DMS). As a child, he was already on the stage of the Basel Children's Theater. During his school days he worked as an extra and noble extra in various productions at the Basel Theater , including a. in “ Romeo and Juliet ” in a production by Heinz Spoerli .
