Mollet de Peralada is a Catalan municipality in the province of Girona in northeastern Spain . It is located in the Comarca Alt Empordà .

Mollet de Peralada is located a few kilometers east of the Autopista AP-7 and is west of the municipalities of Rabós and Garriguella , north of Peralada , east of Capmany and south of Espolla .

The municipality is dominated by agriculture and mainly vines and olive trees are cultivated; The harvested grapes and olives are processed into wine and olive oil in the local cooperative and sold under the guaranteed Denomination of Origin Empordà .
