Attractions
- A well-preserved ring kiln ( horno ) with a stone central support for burning bricks and ceramics was discovered in 1974, probably dating from Roman times .
- The former monastery church and today's parish church ( Esglesia Sant Miquel ) is a defensive-looking building built for the most part from precisely worked stone from the late 11th or early 12th century. The three apses and the tower show pilaster strips and arched friezes in the Lombard architectural style ; they were later, d. H. possibly increased by fortifications during the time of the Catalan Civil War (1462–1472). The almost free-standing bell tower ( campanar ) on the north side is of Romanesque origin; However, it was also fortified in the 15th century and also shows small tooth-cut friezes above the round arches. The nave and the gable and unadorned west side also have a defensive character. The entrance portal, designed in Gothic style but partly destroyed, bears an inscription from 1802; the capitals show modifications of the trifrons motif. The three-aisled interior is barrel vaulted ; the apses are vaulted by semi- dome- shaped domes . The furnishings include several capitals, some of which are geometrically and some of which are vegetable, a Romanesque baptismal font and a holy water font carved out of a capital . Only remains of the foundations have been preserved from the former enclosure area of the monastery including its cloister .
