Torroella de Fluvià is a Catalan municipality in the province of Girona in northeastern Spain . It is located in the Comarca Alt Empordà .

Location and climate

The place is on the Fluvià . It is not to be confused with Torroella de Montgrí , about 15 kilometers south-east, on the Ter .
