Pau is a Catalan municipality in the province of Girona in northeastern Spain . It is located in the Comarca Alt Empordà .

location

Pau lies below the Rodes and Albera mountain ranges at an altitude of 33 meters. Parts of the municipality are nature reserve and part of the natural park Aiguamolls .
