Moritz Berg (* 1964 in Hildesheim ) is a German comedian and actor .

Life

At the end of the 1970s Moritz Berg, influenced by the punk movement , founded various rock bands as a singer and guitarist and then performed mostly solo as a songwriter with humorous German-language lyrics in the early 1990s . After training as a state-certified clown at the School for Dance and Theater in Hanover, he initially worked as a stage comedian and street artist across Europe .

After training as a drama actor, guest roles and engagements at various theaters followed, including the Deutsches Theater Berlin . Since 2005 he has been taking on roles as a film actor for national television productions, but has also appeared in international cinema productions such as Cloud Atlas and Bridge of Spies .

Moritz Berg is committed to the non-profit organization Red Noses International .
