Morxdorf is a district of the town of Jessen (Elster) in the Wittenberg district of Saxony-Anhalt .
The townscape was initially characterized exclusively by agriculture , but smaller craft businesses were also developing at the beginning of the 19th century.

Morxdorf is located approx. 18 km north of the city of Jessen and is connected to it via the B187 , the L37 and the K2239.
history
Created as a Wendish settlement, Morxdorf was first mentioned in documents in 1385.
