Rehain is part of the Ruhlsdorf district of Jessen , is located about 2 km southeast of it and forms with it a district of the city of Jessen (Elster) in the Wittenberg district of Saxony-Anhalt .

history

As a pure farming settlement, probably at about the same time as the district of Ruhlsdorf, founded in or around 1377 by the Wenden , Flemings and Saxony and inhabited by them for the first 200 years, the Rehains school was assigned to the district of Ruhlsdorf in 1885, which was an extension of the school building made necessary in Ruhlsdorf.
