NGC 5468 is a barred spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SAB (rs) cd in the constellation Virgo. It is estimated to be 125 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 ly in diameter.
The object was discovered on March 5, 1785 by the astronomer William Herschel using his 18.7-inch mirror telescope.
