Nicole Best (born January 30, 1968 in Groß-Gerau ) is a German triathlete , walker and multiple German champion.

Career

Introduced to sport through her parents, Nicole practiced ballet, children's gymnastics, swimming, jazz dance, volleyball, table tennis and tennis in her youth.

In 1983 she started for the first time in track walking at the Hessian Championships in Wiesbaden. In 1999 Nicole Best became German champion in the 10,000 meter course. In 2004 she became world champion in age group W35 at the senior indoor world championships in 3000 meter track walking. In 2012 she won the national title with the TV Groß-Gerau in the team competition for 20 km . In 2013, after 2010, she was again German indoor champion over the 3000 meter distance.

The first start in the triathlon on the long distance was in 1995. In 2009 she became German champion in the age group W40 on the triathlon long distance in Roth.

Nicole Best lives in Groß-Gerau near Darmstadt.
