Niklas Kreuzer (born February 20, 1993 in Munich ) is a German soccer player . From 2014 to 2020 he was under contract with the second division Dynamo Dresden .
Career
society
Kreuzer played at SV 1880 Munich and FC Ettingen before joining the youth division of Swiss super-league club FC Basel in 2006 . There he played for the second team from 2011, but he never managed to move up to the first team. In the summer of 2013, Kreuzer moved to the German third division club FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt on a free transfer . In Erfurt he played for a season both for the first team and for the second team in the Oberliga Nordost-Süd .
For the 2014/15 season , Kreuzer moved to league competitor Dynamo Dresden , with whom he became champions of the 3rd division in the 2015/16 season and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . On May 8, 2015, his contract was extended to June 30, 2017. He made his second division debut on matchday one of the 2016/17 season in a 1-1 draw against 1. FC Nürnberg . In February 2017, his contract was extended for two more years until 2019, followed by another extension for another three years until 2022 in February 2019. After the descent of Dresden at the end of the 2019/20 season , Kreuzer's contract was only valid for the 2nd Bundesliga, not extended.
