Nils Totland
Nils Olav Totland (born December 17, 1935 in Bergen ) is a Norwegian politician of the Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). He was the administration minister of his country from 1993 to 1996.
Life
Totland worked from 1952 to 1971 for the Norwegian Railways , where he completed his training as a rail telegraph in 1957. Then he was a member of the board of the Norwegian Railway Association until 1976. From 1976 he worked in the trade union federation Landsorganisasjonen i Norge (LO).
On October 7, 1993 he was appointed Minister of Administration in the Brundtland III government. He held office until October 25, 1996.
From 1967 to 1982 he was a member of the local parliament of Skedsmo . From 1999 to 2003 he was a member of the local parliament of Fet .
