Oddny Aleksandersen
Oddny Aleksandersen (born February 5, 1942 in Vadsø ) is a Norwegian politician of the Arbeiderpartiet (Ap). From September 1992 to October 1993 she was the administration minister of her country.
Life
Aleksandersen studied teaching in Nesna . From 1968 to 1972 she worked as a teacher in Sør-Varanger . She then worked until 1979 as program secretary for the Norwegian broadcasting company NRK in Vadsø . From 1980 to 1982 she worked in the press department of Fylkeskommune in what was then the province of Finnmark . Between 1982 and 1984 she worked as a teacher again and she was employed in Vadsø.
From 1979 to 1983 Aleksandersen was a member of the local parliament of Vadsø. Then she was a member of the Finnmark Fylkesting until 1987 . From 1986 to 1987 she was there Fylkesordførerin .
On September 4, 1992, she was appointed Minister of Labor and Administration in the Brundtland III government. On January 1, 1993, the ministries were restructured and from then until October 7, 1993, she was only responsible for administrative matters.
From 1990 to 2007 she worked in various positions as a consultant and coordinator at the University of Tromsø .
